We’re not the greatest writers. We’re good at grammar, sure, but writing articles in an elevating way is not our forté.
So we’ll put your black-owned business article up for free if you send it in! If you want to feature a black-owned business — a business you admire that has inspired you, the corner store that donates food for the homeless, or even your cousin who is doing something amazing for their community — write up an article and we’ll post it up. Full credit will be given to you as the writer, including a link to your website or social media.
We’ll proofread for spelling and grammar, but we would really love some great content for our articles section.
What we would need from you and your article is:
- A Eye-Catching Article Title (not click-baity, really, but eye-catching)
- A high resolution image to accompany the article (Optional, but check out some stock image sites, if needed).
- An engrossing story, fitting into one of our categories:
- Did You Know?
- Amazing News
- First Black…
- Your full name and email address (email used only for contacting you)
- One or two URLs of yours that you would like included with your author name, either your website or a social media account.
We would prefer articles that are positive, inspiring and/or heartwarming. Please leave out the gossip, crime and politics; we receive enough of that elsewhere.
